Manager Ritchie Hanlon being unhappy with the way the season has shaped up thus far has made five new signings this week ahead of the trip to Hungerford Town. Coming in are attacking midfielder Michael Fernandes (ex Farnborough/Hungerford), defensive midfielder Ronan Silva (ex Crawley/Farnborough), winger Johnny Allotey (ex Harrow/Potters Bar Town), striker Norman Wabo (ex Weymouth) who netted a brace in Tuesday's friendly win at Rayners Lane and defender Connor Stevens who arrives on loan from National League side Barnet. With so many new faces inevitably there will be departures, as soon as these are confirmed by the gaffer we will let you know along with any newly allocated squad numbers.
Manager Ritchie Hanlon has this week enhanced his squad with the arrival of former Barnet and Dagenham & Redbridge midfielder Mauro Vilhete. Portugal born Mauro made approximately 300 appearances over his combined time with The Bees and the Daggers and Ritchie will be looking for his higher level experience to help push United forwards as the campaign progresses. We welcome Mauro to the SKYex and hope your stay is happy and fruitful, he goes straight into the United squad to face Poole Town this afternoon.

Congratulations to midfielder Amos Nasha who with his appearance from the bench today becomes the latest Hayes & Yeading United player to reach the milestone of 100 appearances. Amos joined United in October 2020 during the first Covid season and in just his second game scored against Carlisle United in the FA Cup in what was to be our last game of that season as the pandemic caused it's cancellation.
Manager Ritchie Hanlon has this week bolstered his defence with a return to United for Luke Warner-Eley who arrives from Chesham United whom he had joined in the summer. We welcome Luke back to the SKYex and hope your stay is happy and productive, Luke will take squad number 18. Departing at the same time is midfielder Taylor Miles who joined United twelve months ago from Cheshunt but has been unable so far this term to nail down a starting role in the new boss's team. Taylor goes with our thanks for his effort made in the red of United and we wish him well with his new club, Hanwell Town, apart from when we meet on Boxing Day of course.
